Program Structure
Quantum University’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Import & Export Management is a 3-year full-time undergraduate program designed to develop future professionals equipped to navigate global trade and international business operations. Aligned with NEP 2020 and NCrF guidelines and structured under the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS), the program integrates core business subjects such as management principles, business economics, financial accounting, and business communication with domain-specific knowledge in global trade practices. Students earn credits across nine categories: Discipline Specific Core (DSC), Discipline Specific Elective (DSE), Multidisciplinary Core (MDC), Multidisciplinary Minor/Open Electives (MN/OE), Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC), Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC), Value Added Courses (VAC), Summer Internship (SI), and Project (PR). The curriculum includes key subjects like international trade laws, export-import documentation, logistics and supply chain management, foreign exchange management, global marketing, and trade finance. With a strong focus on practical exposure, students engage in trade simulations, case studies on global markets, port visits, and interaction with industry professionals. Each semester includes hands-on projects, followed by a mandatory summer internship after the third semester and a comprehensive research project in the final year. This program equips students with the skills and insights needed to succeed in international business, export houses, logistics companies, and trade consultancy firms.
