QUANTUM LEARNING RESOURCE CENTRE

Overview

Welcome to the Central Library at Quantum University, a one-stop place for meeting your information needs. The Library is equipped with well-designed, state-of-the-art infrastructure to complement the requirements for reading and research. The library is well-stocked with relevant and appropriate learning and information resources, both in print and electronic formats. The resources are armed with the latest collection of books, journals, magazines, e-journals, eBooks, and databases from globally known publishers. The major focus of the library is online/digital learning resources, which allow users to access them anytime, anywhere, 24×7. The Library is fully automated using the ERP System – Integrated Library Management System.. Many more exciting initiatives are being planned soon to make the library the hub of academic and learning activities.

Quantum Learning Resource Centre (QLRC)

QLRC stands for Quantum Learning Resource Center. A Learning Resource Centre is a facility within the Quantum University, staffed by a specialist, which contains several information sources. QLRC centers serve as a supplemental educational tool to complement the concepts students learn in the classroom or University.

Purpose

Learning Centers are needed whenever an educational need is not met in a community by other facilities (including Institutes). Thus, their purpose is largely to supplement existing institutions rather than to compete with them. Many learning centers are founded with the expressed purpose of fostering a sense of community in an area, especially in poor neighbourhoods that have problems with crime and lack of income.

1. The students can access E-resources from anywhere by anyone with a computer.
2. Fundamental to developing students as learners, teaching students the skills they need to follow curiosity, find information, and apply knowledge to their academic and personal lives.
3. The students learn how to be more independent.
