What Constitutes Ragging?
Ragging includes any act that:
- Causes physical or mental harm, discomfort, or embarrassment to a student
- Involves teasing, abuse, or any kind of bullying
- Forces a student to perform acts against their will
- Violates the dignity or individuality of a fellow student
- Harms the academic or personal life of any student
Our Commitment
- Creation of Ragging-Free Zones across the campus and hostels
- Strict surveillance and monitoring by faculty and security personnel
- Awareness programs and workshops for students and staff
- Mandatory Anti-Ragging Undertaking by every student at the time of admission
- Immediate disciplinary action against offenders, as per university and legal regulations
Anti-Ragging Committee & Helpline
Quantum University has established an active Anti-Ragging Committee and Squad comprising senior faculty members, hostel wardens, administrative staff, and student representatives to investigate and take action against any reported incident.
Penalties for Ragging
Depending on the severity of the act, the university may impose:
- Written warning or apology
- Suspension or rustication
- Expulsion from the institution
- FIR with the local police authorities
