Quantum University’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Hospital Management is a 3-year full-time undergraduate program designed to prepare students for administrative and managerial roles in the healthcare sector. Structured under the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) and aligned with NEP 2020 and NCrF guidelines, the curriculum combines core business subjects such as management principles, business economics, financial accounting, and business communication with specialized knowledge in healthcare operations and hospital administration. Students earn credits across nine categories: Discipline Specific Core (DSC), Discipline Specific Elective (DSE), Multidisciplinary Core (MDC), Multidisciplinary Minor/Open Electives (MN/OE), Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC), Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC), Value Added Courses (VAC), Summer Internship (SI), and Project (PR). The program focuses on critical areas like healthcare management, hospital planning, medical ethics, healthcare laws, quality assurance, health information systems, and patient care services. Emphasis is placed on experiential learning through real-world case studies, hospital visits, and management simulations, along with mandatory semester-wise projects, a summer internship after the third semester, and a major research project in the final year. This industry-oriented program equips students with the practical skills and knowledge needed to excel in hospital administration, healthcare consultancy, and allied health management roles.
