Research & Patents

Dr. Sharma has published more than 30 research papers in refereed national and international journals. She has contributed book chapters to reputed publishers, including Taylor & Francis and Bentham Science. She has authored and edited four books in the domains of Digital Marketing, UNDP-related themes, and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

She has completed three minor research projects sponsored by the Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST), Dehradun. These projects focused on preserving Indian Knowledge Systems and promoting awareness of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in Uttarakhand.

Dr. Sharma has participated in more than 30 Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs) and over 20 national and international seminars, in both online and offline modes. She has organized two international conferences and eight national workshops. She has also been invited as a resource person at several national workshops, where she has delivered talks on consumer perception, IPR infringement, and related topics. Dr. Sharma currently supervises Ph.D. scholars in areas including Digital Marketing and Green Marketing. In recognition of her contributions to academia, she received the Best Women Educator Award from the Star International Foundation for Research and Education, Tamil Nadu and Best Research Excellence Award from IHMS, Kotdwar.
