Broadcasting & Journalism Lab

The Broadcasting & Journalism Lab is designed to provide students with practical training in news production, reporting, and media broadcasting. Equipped with teleprompters, video cameras, audio recorders, studio lights, editing consoles, and newsroom simulation software, the lab replicates a real-world media environment where students can practice anchoring, news writing, reporting, and live presentation. It also provides facilities for producing radio programs, podcasts, and digital news content, enabling students to explore both traditional and modern media platforms. Through hands-on projects, mock news bulletins, and collaborative assignments, students develop professional skills in storytelling, editing, and media ethics. The lab prepares them for careers in journalism, broadcasting, digital media, and mass communication, ensuring they are industry-ready with strong communication, research, and technical expertise.
