Food & Beverage Service Lab

The Food & Beverage Service Lab is a practical training facility designed to teach students the art and techniques of serving food and beverages in a professional setting. It is equipped with dining tables, chairs, sideboards, trays, cutlery, crockery, glassware, bar counters, and mock restaurant setups.
Purpose:
To develop professional skills in food and beverage service, table management, customer interaction, and operational procedures in restaurants, hotels, and catering setups.
Activities / Training Includes:
Table setting for different meal types (breakfast, lunch, dinner, buffet, banquet).
Service techniques: American, French, Russian, and buffet service styles.
Handling orders, serving food and beverages, and clearing tables.
Mock bar service including non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.
Customer service etiquette and communication skills.
Handling guest complaints and problem-solving in a service environment.
Banquet and event setup practice, including layout planning and service coordination.
