TechThrive 2.0, the flagship hackathon of Quantum University, was successfully organized by the Codex Club in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and Department of Computer Applications on 2 December 2025 at Shyamji Auditorium. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 35 teams comprising 162 students, creating a vibrant atmosphere of innovation, collaboration, and technical creativity.

The event began with an inspiring address by Dr. Brij Mohan Singh, Director, Quantum School of Technology, who encouraged students to adopt a mindset of continuous learning and innovation. The formal inauguration took place with the arrival of the Chief Guest, Dr. Vivek Kumar, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, along with esteemed dignitaries including Dr. Satender Kumar (Dean Academics), Dr. Mridula Singh (HoD, Computer Applications), Dr. Karan Babbar (Dean Student Welfare), Dr. M. Kannan (Controller of Examination), and respected faculty members.

The inaugural ceremony commenced with the National Anthem, followed by the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge, creativity, and technological progress. Addressing the participants, Dr. Mridula Singh briefed students about the hackathon themes, problem statements, and evaluation criteria. The Vice Chancellor, Dr. Vivek Kumar, motivated students to focus on real-world problem solving, innovation, and the responsible use of emerging technologies to create meaningful impact.
Following the inauguration, the hackathon officially began. The first round of evaluation took place at 12:30 PM and was conducted by Mr. Vivek Kumar, Mr. Amit Chauhan, and Mr. Vineet Salar, Assistant Professors at Quantum University. Based on their assessment, the top ten teams were shortlisted for the next round. The second round commenced at 2:30 PM and was evaluated by Dr. Mridula Singh, Dr. Chunnu Lal, and Dr. Md Iqbal, who assessed projects on innovation, feasibility, technical depth, presentation quality, and real-world relevance.
After a rigorous evaluation process, the following teams emerged as winners:
- Winner: The Six Sense
- First Runner-Up: Data Minds
- Second Runner-Up: LOOP-X
The award ceremony was graced by senior academic leadership and faculty members, who presented trophies and medals to the winning teams in recognition of their outstanding performance.

The hackathon featured thoughtfully designed problem statements under two tracks. Track A: Smart Campus Solutions focused on technology-driven solutions such as a campus event hub, OD automation system, AI-based attendance, blockchain certificate validation, smart waste reduction, and AI-powered campus assistants. Track B: Open Innovation encouraged teams to propose original ideas aimed at improving campus efficiency through technology.
Overall, TechThrive 2.0 emerged as a highly impactful and energizing event. It provided students with a valuable platform to showcase their technical expertise, creativity, and teamwork while strengthening their problem-solving abilities and confidence. The event concluded on a positive and inspiring note, reinforcing Quantum University’s commitment to experiential learning, innovation, and future-ready education.
