Quantum University successfully hosted an Awareness Session on the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) under the NEP SAARTHI Initiative at Unity Hall, B Block, on August 12, 2025. The event served as a significant step in educating students and faculty about the transformative vision of NEP 2020 and its far-reaching implications for higher education in India.

The programme commenced at 10:45 AM with the arrival and seating of enthusiastic students, followed by the warm reception of the invited guest, Dr. L.P. Purohit, Director Research, Professor & Head, Department of Physics, and Dean, Faculty of Science, Gurukula Kangri (Deemed to be University), Haridwar, at 11:00 AM.

At 11:05 AM, the session officially began with a welcome note by the student anchor, which set an engaging and respectful tone. Soon after, the Lamp Lighting Ceremony at 11:10 AM symbolized the illumination of knowledge and wisdom—reflecting the ethos of NEP’s focus on holistic and inclusive education.

Following the ceremony, Prof. Vivek Kumar, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Quantum University, delivered the Welcome Address, highlighting the importance of NEP 2020 as a forward-looking reform. At 11:25 AM, Dr. L.P. Purohit delivered his much-anticipated keynote address. His talk delved deep into the core principles of NEP 2020:
