Embracing Inner Peace through Sahaja Yoga
Under the banner of the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) Activity, Quantum University successfully conducted a transformative session on Sahaja Yoga Meditation focused on personality development and stress management. The initiative aimed to provide students with practical tools for mental clarity, emotional stability, and self-realization.
The session opened with a heartfelt welcome by Rithik, a BCA student, who set an uplifting tone for the day. With over 250 students in attendance, the auditorium buzzed with curiosity and openness to this holistic approach to well-being.

Key Concepts Covered:
- Three Energy Channels:
- Ida Nadi – Governs emotions
- Pingala Nadi – Controls actions
- Sushumna Nadi – Maintains spiritual balance
- Seven Chakras:
Each chakra was explained in terms of its emotional and spiritual relevance—from Mooladhara (innocence) to Sahasrara (self-realization). - Kundalini Awakening:
A central concept in Sahaja Yoga, the Kundalini energy was described as a dormant power that rises during meditation, bringing balance and enlightenment. - Role of Ego & Superego: Students learned how meditation dissolves psychological blockages and fosters self-awareness and humility.
Live Guided Meditation Experience
The highlight of the session was the live guided meditation, where students were gently led through the awakening of their inner energy systems. For many, this was a first-time experience of true mental stillness, and the impact was immediately visible—calm faces, focused attention, and relaxed postures filled the room.
