In a celebration that beautifully intertwined culture, sustainability, and learning, the Quantum School of Agricultural Studies, Quantum University, Roorkee, organized the Quantum Navrang Organic Mahotsav on the vibrant theme “Navratri ka Taal, Organic ke Vichar.”

The event aimed to promote the principles of organic living and sustainable agriculture while celebrating the festive essence of Navratri, symbolizing purity, renewal, and devotion. The Mahotsav was envisioned as a fusion of tradition and sustainability, offering a platform for students to explore the potential of organic food entrepreneurship, eco-consciousness, and community engagement through creative expression and teamwork.

A total of 11 creatively designed stalls were set up, each uniquely themed around organic and traditional food items inspired by Navratri fasting, regional cuisines, and seasonal ingredients.

    Students showcased a wide variety of organic snacks, sweets, and traditional Navratri recipes prepared with millets, pulses, vegetables, and natural ingredients. Dishes like kuttu ki puri, sabudana khichdi, singhada halwa, and amaranth laddoos were among the highlights.
     
  2. Healthy Beverage Counters:
    Stalls offered refreshing and nutritious beverages made with natural ingredients such as aam panna, tulsi-infused lemon water, beetroot juice, and millet smoothies.
     
  3. Awareness Displays:
    Students designed educational posters and models explaining the benefits of organic farming, the impact of chemical-free diets on health, and ways to start small-scale organic gardening at home.
     
  4. Cultural Decor and Presentation:
    The entire venue was decorated with eco-friendly materials, hand-painted banners, and traditional Navratri motifs. The use of clay pots, bamboo baskets, and jute crafts added an organic and aesthetic charm to the ambiance.
