Durga Puja 2025 Celebrations at Quantum University, Roorkee

Quantum University celebrated Durga Puja 2025 with devotion, cultural vibrancy, and enthusiastic student participation. The five-day festival featured rituals, competitions, and cultural performances, reflecting the university’s commitment to heritage, creativity, and community spirit.

Day 1 – 28th September 2025: Idol Arrival

  • Arrival of Goddess Durga Idol at 6:00 PM, welcomed with dhol beats, floral decorations, and devotional chants.
     
  • Students and faculty participated in the traditional welcoming ceremony, setting a festive tone for the celebrations.
     
  • The campus was adorned with lights, rangoli, and decorative elements, creating a vibrant and inviting atmosphere.

Day 2 – 29th September 2025: Pran Pratishtha & Competitions

Morning Rituals:

  • Pran Pratishtha Puja & Aarti at 7:00 AM, attended by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Vivek Kumar and QSB Director Prof. Manish Srivastava.

  • Traditional farewell rituals, including Sindoor Khela, were observed.
