Dr. Alok Kumar Jha

Designation : Assistant Professor

Dr. Alok Kumar Jha holds a Ph.D. in Journalism and Mass Communication and an M.Phil. in Media Studies from Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, a premier institution in media education. He has also qualified the UGC-NET in Journalism and Mass Communication. His areas of specialization include Development Communication, Advertising and Public Relations (APR), Media Research, Media Writing, Film Studies, and Semiotic Analysis.

Research & Patents

He has authored seven research papers published in reputed journals, including those indexed in Web of Science and UGC-CARE, along with several book chapters. He has also co-edited a publication on Women Entrepreneurship and has presented research papers at various national and international conferences. With over six years of experience in media education, Dr. Jha is recognized as a committed academician who contributes significantly through teaching, research, and scholarly engagement in the field of journalism and mass communication.
