Dr. Deepti Bhatt

Designation : Assistant Professor

Dr. Deepti Bhatt holds a Ph.D. in Hospitality (Gender Studies) from Amity University, Noida, with a research focus on gender studies and career advancement in the hospitality industry, particularly in the Delhi-NCR region. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Quantum School of Hospitality and Tourism, Quantum University, Roorkee, where she teaches Front Office Operations and Management.

With nearly eight years of combined experience in the hotel industry and academia, Dr. Bhatt has worked with esteemed brands such as JW Marriott and ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru. She holds a Master’s degree from IHM Bengaluru and a Bachelor’s degree from IHM Bhopal.

Experience :

She has made significant contributions to academia, including the publication of a research paper in the African Journal of Hospitality, Tourism and Leisure, a Scopus-indexed journal. She was also honored with the Best Paper Award at an international conference. Additionally, she serves as a reviewer for the Emerald Journal, highlighting her academic credibility and expertise.

Her scholarly work includes the publication of multiple book chapters and the presentation of research findings at distinguished national and international conferences. Notably, she has contributed chapters to IGI Global publications on contemporary topics such as Bleisure Travelers and Artificial Intelligence in Hospitality and Tourism.

As the Incharge of Training and Placement for the Department of Hospitality & Tourism, she has successfully placed multiple student batches in renowned five-star luxury hotels, showcasing her strong industry connections and commitment to student success.

She is also a member of the Quantum Learning Resource Centre and the Prof. AK Khare Interdisciplinary Centre of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence (ICE-AI). In addition to her academic and administrative roles, she oversees the department’s admissions process and has played a key role in streamlining documentation for NAAC accreditation (Criteria 3).
