Dr. Arati Tamta

Designation : Associate Professor

Dr. Arati Tamta is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Pharmacognosy from Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dehradun. Her areas of expertise include phytochemical investigations, wound-healing formulations, and the evaluation of medicinal plants from the Uttarakhand region. With a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences, she integrates traditional medicinal knowledge with modern scientific approaches to explore and develop therapeutic formulations derived from natural sources.

Research & Patents

Dr. Tamta has authored 15 research articles in reputed national and international journals, co-authored two books, and actively participated in multiple conferences, workshops, and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs). She has supervised several postgraduate and undergraduate research projects and contributed to a patent application related to an herbal shampoo formulation. Additionally, she has delivered poster presentations at national and international conferences, including the 69th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress, and has attended specialized workshops on regulatory affairs and ethnopharmacology. Currently serving as an Associate Professor, Dr. Tamta continues to engage in teaching, research, and academic mentorship, fostering innovation and excellence in pharmaceutical education and research.
