Designation : Assistant Professor

Ms. Srishti Raturi is pursuing her Ph.D. with a focus on "Narrativising Illness: A Study of Select Novels of Jodi Picoult" and is currently preparing for her final defense. With over five years of experience in the field of medical humanities, her academic interests encompass medical humanities, gender studies, folk and tribal literature (unheard voices), post-postmodern poetry, and poetic medicine. She integrates literary analysis with healthcare perspectives, exploring the intersections of narrative, culture, and human experience in medicine.

Research & Patents

Ms. Raturi has published multiple research papers and poems in UGC-listed journals and presented her work at renowned national and international conferences. She has served as the Chapter President of the India Chapter of Students for Health Humanities, a global organization promoting the integration of healthcare and the humanities. Since 2024, she has been an active member of the International Health Humanities Network. Her research and scholarly engagement emphasize the critical role of narratives in healthcare, highlighting diverse voices and advancing interdisciplinary dialogue in medical humanities.
