Photography Lab

The Photography Lab is designed to provide students with hands-on training in the art and science of photography. Equipped with professional DSLR and mirrorless cameras, studio lighting systems, tripods, backdrops, and image-editing software such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, the lab allows students to practice studio, portrait, product, and outdoor photography. The facility includes a controlled lighting setup for creative experiments with exposure, composition, and visual storytelling. Students also learn advanced techniques in digital image processing, photo retouching, and visual enhancement, enabling them to transform raw captures into professional-quality outputs. The lab supports workshops, live assignments, and project-based learning that encourage creativity and technical precision. By blending artistic vision with technical expertise, the Photography Lab prepares students for careers in professional photography, media, advertising, fashion, journalism, and creative industries, while also fostering a strong visual communication skill set.
