Open Source Lab

The Open Source Lab introduces students to the concepts and tools of open-source software, equipping them with the skills to use, modify, and contribute to open-source technologies. Students explore Linux and Unix operating systems, master shell scripting using Bash, Perl, and Awk, and automate tasks. They gain hands-on experience with open-source tools for software development, text editing, and version control. The lab fosters a collaborative mindset, encouraging students to engage with the global open-source community while developing practical problem-solving skills.
