Quantum University successfully organized a two-day International Conference on “Innovation and Practice in Artificial Intelligence (ICIPAI-2026)” on 15 and 16 May 2026. The conference witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 200 researchers, academicians, scholars, and industry experts from India and abroad, making it a significant platform for global academic exchange and technological collaboration in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
The inaugural session of the conference was graced by Pradeep Batra, Cabinet Minister of the Government of Uttarakhand for Information Technology, Good Governance, Science & Technology, and Biotechnology, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, he emphasized the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence in transforming industries, governance, education, and national development.
The event was further honoured by the presence of Dr. Durgesh Pant, Director General of UCOST, Dehradun, as the Guest of Honour. In his address, he highlighted the importance of innovation-driven research and encouraged students and researchers to explore emerging technologies and interdisciplinary applications of Artificial Intelligence.
The conference brought together participants from prestigious institutions including Indian Institutes of Technology, Indian Institutes of Information Technology, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Iran University, along with several reputed national and international universities and institutions. Throughout the two-day conference, multiple technical sessions, keynote lectures, and research paper presentations were conducted on emerging trends, innovative practices, and practical applications of Artificial Intelligence across various domains.
On the occasion, University President Ajay Goyal, Vice President Shobhit Goyal, and Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Vivek Kumar congratulated the organizing committee for the successful execution of the conference. They stated that such international academic platforms play a vital role in promoting innovation, collaborative research, and knowledge exchange while preparing students and scholars to address future technological challenges.
The conference aimed to strengthen collaboration among academicians, researchers, and industry professionals while promoting research, innovation, and technological advancement in the rapidly evolving field of Artificial Intelligence.
