Quantum University students showcased their excellence in financial literacy by securing the Runner-up Position at the National Financial Literacy Quiz (NFLQ) 2026 Regional Round, organized by the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), an educational initiative of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). The competition was held in New Delhi on August 1, 2026, with participation from 60 teams representing leading colleges and universities across Northern India.
Representing the Department of Commerce & Finance, Mr. Rajat Joshi (B.Com III Year) and Mr. Nidhaan (B.Com II Year) delivered an outstanding performance to secure second place. Their achievement earned them a ₹30, 000 cash prize, presented by Mr. Shashi Krishnan, Director, NISM, and a place in the NFLQ 2026 National Finals, scheduled to be held in Mumbai in November 2026.
The students were accompanied by Dr. Varsha Gupta, Coordinator, Department of Commerce & Finance, whose guidance played an important role in their success. Adding to the university's achievement, Dr. Gupta was felicitated by NISM as one of the Most Active Single Point of Contact (SPOC) in the Northern Region for her dedicated efforts in promoting financial literacy and successfully coordinating the quiz at Quantum University.
Congratulating the students and faculty, the university leadership said the achievement reflects Quantum University's commitment to academic excellence, experiential learning, and industry-oriented education. The university also extended its best wishes to the team for the National Finals, expressing confidence that they will continue to bring pride to the institution on the national stage.
