The Quantum School of Technology at Quantum University Roorkee organized an industrial visit to Rubico IT Private Limited on 06 May 2026 for the students of 3rd Year B.Tech. The visit aimed to provide students with practical exposure to the working environment of the IT industry and help them understand current industry practices and emerging technologies.

During the visit, students were introduced to the company’s organizational structure, work culture, and software development processes. Established in 2003, Rubico IT Private Limited is a reputed IT company in Uttarakhand specializing in web and mobile application development, customized software solutions, and technology-driven business services.

Company representatives explained how different departments coordinate to manage projects efficiently and meet client requirements. Students also gained valuable insights into real-world industry challenges such as project management, teamwork, communication, innovation, and maintaining quality standards in software development.

An interactive session was conducted by HR representative Ms. Neha along with industry experts, who addressed students’ queries related to career opportunities, technical skill requirements, workplace expectations, and emerging technologies in the IT sector. The interaction provided students with a deeper understanding of professional work environments and industry demands.

The industrial visit proved to be highly informative and beneficial for the students as it successfully bridged the gap between academic learning and industrial practices. The experience enhanced students’ awareness of the IT industry and emphasized the importance of technical knowledge, innovation, adaptability, and continuous learning in today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape.
