The Department of Commerce and Finance at Quantum University, Roorkee, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MyLogic Business Management School to launch the specialized B.Com (Hons.) Accounting and Taxation program integrated with ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), UK. The collaboration marks a significant step towards integrating global professional standards with academic excellence and aims to provide students with an internationally recognized pathway in the field of finance and accounting.
The MoU signing ceremony was graced between senior academic leaders and representatives from both institutions, marking a significant step toward strengthening industry-oriented and globally aligned education at Quantum University.
The newly introduced B.Com (Hons.) Accounting and Taxation program has been designed to integrate the globally recognized ACCA curriculum into the undergraduate academic structure of Quantum University. Under this integrated model, students will simultaneously pursue their university degree while preparing for international professional certifications. The program offers students the advantage of receiving exemptions in nine ACCA papers covering the Applied Knowledge and Applied Skills levels, thereby accelerating their journey toward becoming globally certified finance professionals.
The curriculum has been aligned with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and global taxation practices to equip students with industry-relevant knowledge and practical expertise. The program is expected to enhance employability opportunities for students in leading multinational corporations, accounting firms, and global financial organizations across more than 180 countries. The initiative reflects Quantum University’s commitment to offering future-ready education that aligns with international industry demands. The ceremony concluded with an exchange of tokens of appreciation and a shared commitment to establishing Quantum University as a leading center for global financial education.
