Quantum University delivered an impressive performance at the Inter-University Tournament hosted by RIT, Roorkee. Students competed in Athletics, Football, Basketball, Cricket and Badminton, and returned with multiple medals and strong positions across the board.

In Athletics, Saakshi from B.Tech 2nd Year stood out in the girls’ category, winning Gold in both the 100m and 200m races. The boys’ events saw equally strong performances. Lucky Todiyan from BCA 3rd Year secured Gold in the 100m and 200m, along with a Bronze in Long Jump. Deepak Kumar from B.Tech CSE 1st Year won Silver in the 100m Boys, while Vishal Sirohi from B.Com 1st Year earned Silver in Long Jump.

Quantum University also delivered a strong showing in Badminton Doubles. The pair of Devansh (B.Tech CSE 4th Year) and Ashutosh Yadav (B.Tech CSE 3rd Year) claimed the Winner’s position. The team of Jostish Katariya (BCA 2nd Year) and Vedic Aryan (B.Tech CSE 2nd Year) followed closely and secured the Runner-Up position.

The Cricket team, led by Captain Devansh Vishnai (B.Tech), displayed solid teamwork and consistency throughout the tournament. They reached the final and finished as Runner-Up after a hard-fought match.

In other team events, the Football team advanced to the Semi-Finals after a series of confident performances. The Basketball team also gave a spirited effort and reached the Quarter-Finals.

The tournament as a whole highlighted the talent, dedication and sportsmanship of Quantum University athletes. Their achievements reflect the hard work of the students and the continued support provided by the university’s sports department.
