Quantum University organized an Orientation Programme for B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) students to familiarize them with the university's academic environment, curriculum, learning methodologies, career opportunities, and overall educational framework.
The programme featured guidance on higher education and professional development, with emphasis on developing a clear career vision, technical knowledge, communication skills, critical thinking, and professional competencies. Students were encouraged to explore diverse career opportunities available after their undergraduate studies, including pathways in academia, research, industry, and competitive examinations.
A key focus of the orientation was Project-Based Learning (PBL) and its role in connecting theoretical concepts with practical applications. Students were encouraged to participate actively in projects, laboratory activities, problem-solving exercises, and interdisciplinary learning. The approach was highlighted as a way to strengthen creativity, teamwork, research aptitude, analytical skills, confidence, and the ability to address real-world problems.
The students were also introduced to the academic structure and curriculum of the B.Sc. (Hons.)
