The Department of Commerce and Finance, Quantum University, successfully organized an Orientation Programme for B.Com II and III Year students for the Academic Session 2026–27 at Harmony Hall. The programme aimed to familiarize students with the department’s academic, professional, industry-oriented, and student-development initiatives planned for the new session.
The programme featured a departmental presentation highlighting upcoming academic and co-curricular activities, along with opportunities for professional certifications through NISM. Dr. Varsha Gupta, Coordinator, Department of Commerce and Finance, guided students on academic expectations, support initiatives for slow and fast learners, Mentor–Mentee activities, departmental committees, industry collaboration, innovative project development, and financial literacy outreach programmes. She also encouraged students to actively participate in departmental initiatives and undertake innovative projects with potential university support.
A major highlight of the programme was the recognition of Nidhan and Rajat Joshi, who secured Second Position among 60 teams in the Regional National Financial Literacy Quiz and qualified for the National Round to be held in Mumbai.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and best wishes to the students for the new academic session. Overall, the orientation provided B.Com II and III Year students with valuable guidance on academic support, mentoring, professional certifications, skill development, project-based learning, financial literacy, personality development, and career opportunities, encouraging them to make the most of the opportunities available at Quantum University.
