The Department of Business Administration at Quantum University organized a Live Case Workshop on “Business Model Canvas” on 9th May 2026 at Harmony Hall, F-Block under the aegis of Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Genesis – QU Innovation Council. The workshop aimed to provide students with practical exposure to startup planning, business strategy development, and entrepreneurial thinking through experiential learning and live case discussions.

The session was conducted by Ms. Roshni Monga, Assistant Manager, KPMG Govt Advisory, who shared valuable insights into startup ecosystems, investment promotion, and business planning. She introduced students to the Business Model Canvas framework and explained its nine major components including customer segments, value propositions, channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key activities, key resources, key partnerships, and cost structure. Through live case examples and practical business scenarios, students gained a deeper understanding of innovative and sustainable business strategies.

To make the workshop interactive and application-oriented, students participated in group activities where they brainstormed innovative business ideas and prepared their own Business Model Canvas frameworks. The hands-on exercises enhanced students’ analytical thinking, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while encouraging them to explore entrepreneurial opportunities and strategic decision-making approaches.

The event proved highly informative and beneficial for MBA and BBA students, successfully combining theoretical concepts with practical applications and providing valuable exposure to modern entrepreneurial and strategic business practices.
