Quantum University successfully organized a four-day Workshop on Cyber Security under the NIIT Foundation initiative from 19 to 22 August 2026. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ awareness and understanding of cybersecurity, digital safety, cyber threats, data protection, and the responsible use of technology.

The workshop featured expert-led sessions, interactive discussions, and practical learning activities conducted by cybersecurity experts from NIIT Foundation. The sessions provided students with valuable exposure to various aspects of cybersecurity and encouraged them to adopt safe and responsible practices while using digital platforms and technologies.

Approximately 1, 500 students participated in the programme, including students from B.Tech and BCA First, Second, Third and Fourth Year, along with students from BPT and Pharmacy programmes. The broad participation created an opportunity for learners from diverse academic backgrounds to develop awareness about the importance of digital security.

The programme helped students gain a better understanding of cyber threats, online security practices, personal data protection, safe internet usage, and responsible digital behaviour. The interactive nature of the workshop enabled students to connect cybersecurity concepts with their everyday digital activities and understand the importance of remaining vigilant in an increasingly connected environment.

The successful completion of the workshop reaffirmed Quantum University’s commitment to digital awareness, cybersecurity education, and responsible technology use. The initiative provided students with essential knowledge and practical awareness to navigate the digital world more safely, securely, and responsibly.
