The Department of Computer Science & Engineering and the Department of Computer Applications, Quantum University, Roorkee, successfully organized a Five-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate from 13th to 17th July 2026 in collaboration with ICT Academy and Microsoft. The program was designed to strengthen faculty members' expertise in business intelligence, data analytics, and modern data visualization tools, enabling them to integrate industry-relevant technologies into teaching and research.

The FDP featured expert sessions by Mr. Mohammad Aadil Sheikh Afsar, an accomplished technical trainer in Data Science, who provided comprehensive training on Microsoft Power BI. Faculty participants gained hands-on experience in data analytics, dashboard creation, data transformation, report development, and interactive data visualization, while learning practical approaches to solving real-world business and engineering challenges through data-driven insights.

Throughout the five-day program, participants actively engaged in interactive discussions, laboratory-based practical sessions, and case-study-driven learning exercises.
