Department of Agriculture Studies, Quantum University, organized a dynamic Agri-Startup Pitching and Ideation Event aimed at fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable business thinking among agriculture students. The programme provided students with a platform to develop and present ideas focused on transforming the agricultural sector through modern technology and sustainable practices.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 50 students of B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, who formed multiple competitive teams and presented a diverse range of startup concepts. The event was also attended by 15 faculty members, who guided, evaluated, and mentored the participating students throughout the programme. The startup ideas covered areas including organic farming solutions, AgriTech platforms, and waste management systems.

The participating teams were evaluated on key parameters such as innovation, feasibility, market scalability, and presentation skills. Following the evaluation, Team 2, represented by Khushi Kumari and Shrishty Sharma, secured the first position. Team 3, represented by Satyajeet and Pramjeet, secured the second position, while Team 19, represented by Riya Saini, secured the third position.

The event provided students with practical exposure to business idea pitching, market research, public speaking, and entrepreneurial planning. The platform also encouraged participants to look beyond conventional agricultural practices and explore opportunities in modern Agricultural Technology, while the presence of faculty mentors enabled students to receive constructive feedback and refine their startup models.

The successful organization of the Agri-Startup Pitching and Ideation Event reaffirmed Quantum University's commitment to promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, experiential learning, and sustainable agricultural development. By encouraging students to transform agricultural challenges into business opportunities, the initiative contributed to building an entrepreneurial mindset among future agriculture professionals.
