Quantum University Organizes “Startups Award Ceremony 2026” to Foster Innovation and Entrepreneurship

Quantum University successfully organized the “Startups Award Ceremony 2026” in collaboration with Startup Uttarakhand under the aegis of GENESIS – QU Innovation Council. The event aimed to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and student-led startup culture while recognizing and encouraging emerging innovators and entrepreneurial talent.

The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Devendra Bhasin along with Prof. (Dr.) Vivek Kumar. Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries encouraged students to transform innovative ideas into impactful enterprises and emphasized the importance of innovation-driven thinking in contributing towards nation-building and the vision of an आत्मनिर्भर भारत (Self-Reliant India).

A major highlight of the event was the organization of several startup and innovation competitions under “Srijan 4.0, ” designed to enhance entrepreneurship, leadership skills, creative thinking, and problem-solving abilities among students. The competitions included “Startup Premier League, ” “Pitch Your Idea, ” “Corporate Deal, ” “Bid & Build, ” and “Prototype Expo, ” where participants showcased innovative business ideas, entrepreneurial models, strategic thinking, and technology-driven solutions.

The “Pitch Your Idea” competition provided aspiring entrepreneurs with an opportunity to present their startup concepts before industry experts and mentors, while the “Startup Premier League” served as a competitive platform for young innovators to demonstrate their entrepreneurial capabilities. Competitions such as “Corporate Deal” and “Bid & Build” offered practical exposure to business decision-making, teamwork, strategic planning, and entrepreneurial problem-solving. Meanwhile, the “Prototype Expo” featured prototypes and technical models developed by students, which were evaluated on the basis of innovation, feasibility, technical excellence, and societal impact.

During the ceremony, Quantum University awarded grants of ₹1 lakh each to seven promising startups to support the growth and commercial expansion of their ventures. The awarded startups included College Kart, Persona IP, Aero Book, Aerozen, Sakhi, Next Gen Growth, and Bio Boosters.

Additionally, under “Srijan 4.0, ” three outstanding innovative projects showcased during the Prototype Expo were declared winners and honored for their exceptional performance and creativity.

The event emerged as an inspiring platform for encouraging students towards innovation, research, startup culture, and technology-driven entrepreneurship. It also reaffirmed Quantum University’s commitment to nurturing future innovators, entrepreneurs, and change-makers capable of contributing meaningfully to society and industry.
