Quantum University organised a workshop on “AI and Industry 5.0 Applications in Footwear Technology” to enhance students’ technical understanding of emerging technologies in footwear design and manufacturing. The workshop focused on the growing applications of Artificial Intelligence, automation, robotics, smart manufacturing and human-machine collaboration in the footwear industry.

The session explored how AI-based systems can support footwear design, material selection, quality inspection, defect detection and production planning. Technical discussions also covered Computer-Aided Design (CAD), 3D printing, digital modelling and intelligent production systems used in modern footwear development.
