Quantum University Hosts MLSA × Chai aur Code Orientation Session for 180+ Students

22 September 2026

Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors (MLSA), in collaboration with Chai aur Code, successfully organised an Orientation Session for students at Shamji Auditorium, Quantum University. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 180 students and aimed to introduce them to the MLSA community, the vision of Chai aur Code and the learning, development and career opportunities available in the field of technology.

The session began with an introduction to Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors (MLSA) and its focus on learning, building, sharing knowledge and leadership. Students were also introduced to the collaboration with Chai aur Code and its practical, project-oriented and beginner-friendly approach to technical learning. The orientation encouraged students to strengthen problem-solving abilities, participate in projects and workshops and actively engage with the technical community.

A key highlight of the programme was the series of technology roadmap sessions covering Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Structures and Algorithms, Generative AI, Data Science, Cyber Security, App Development, Full Stack Development and Cloud Computing. The roadmap sessions helped students understand different technology domains, recommended learning directions and possible pathways for developing technical skills.

The programme also featured the recognition of the previous MLSA Core Team and an acknowledgement of its contribution towards building the student community. The previous leadership was felicitated, followed by the introduction of the new MLSA Lead/President and Core Team. Representatives from Chai aur Code were also welcomed as part of the collaboration.

The orientation placed strong emphasis on hands-on learning through workshops, expert sessions, project challenges and collaborative activities. Students were encouraged to follow the journey of ONBOARD → LEARN → BUILD → SHARE → LEAD and participate actively in the community rather than limiting their learning to classroom education. An interactive session allowed students to share their interests in different technology domains, followed by a Q&A session focusing on learning paths, projects, communities and career development.

The event also featured an address by Dr. Brij Mohan Singh, Director, who guided students and encouraged them to actively participate in technical communities and make the most of the learning opportunities provided through MLSA and Chai aur Code. The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks expressing gratitude to the university leadership, faculty members, MLSA team, new Core Team, roadmap speakers, Chai aur Code representatives, volunteers, organisers and participating students.

With participation from more than 180 students, the orientation served as an engaging platform for exploring technology, connecting with a developer community and taking the first steps towards building practical skills, meaningful projects and a strong foundation for future technical careers.
