Quantum University, Roorkee, hosted Day 1 of Freshers 2026, welcoming the new batch with an energetic evening of music, dance, student participation, and celebration. The programme was designed to provide freshers with an enjoyable platform to showcase their talents, interact with their peers, and begin their university journey with confidence and enthusiasm.

The cultural segment featured solo dance, solo music, and group dance performances by freshers. The performances created a lively and celebratory atmosphere and gave students an opportunity to express their creativity and individual talents before their peers and the university audience.

One of the major highlights of the evening was the Mr. and Miss Freshers selection process, conducted through two rounds of walk. Round I featured 40 participants, while Round II included 10 shortlisted participants. The walk rounds provided students with an opportunity to demonstrate confidence, stage presence, and personality. Additional musical and dance performances were presented between the selection rounds, keeping the programme engaging and energetic.

Freshers 2026 – Day 1 marked a lively beginning to the freshers’ celebrations at Quantum University.
