The Department of Business Administration, Quantum School of Business, Quantum University, Roorkee, organised a hands-on training session on “Inventory Management using TallyPrime. The session was conducted with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to inventory management and the application of accounting software in business operations.

Through hands-on activities, students were able to connect theoretical concepts with practical accounting and inventory management practices. The training provided participants with an opportunity to understand how accounting software can be applied to manage inventory and support efficient business operations.

The session helped students gain practical knowledge of creating and maintaining inventory records and recording stock-related transactions. It also enhanced their understanding of the role of TallyPrime in inventory control and accounting while strengthening their practical software skills and digital competency.

The training further enabled students to build confidence in applying inventory management concepts in real-world business situations. The initiative reflected the Department of Business Administration’s emphasis on experiential learning and developing practical skills relevant to contemporary business operations.
