Quantum University celebrated National Sports Day 2026 with enthusiasm and sporting spirit under the theme “KHELEGA BHARAT, JEETEGA BHARAT.” Organized by the Sports Department, the celebration was held from 28 to 30 August 2026 to encourage students to actively participate in sports and physical activities while developing values such as discipline, leadership, coordination, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
As part of the celebration, a total of 11 indoor and outdoor sports activities were organized, providing students with opportunities to participate according to their interests and abilities. The competitions were conducted in a fair and systematic manner under the supervision of the Sports Department and designated coordinators.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 361 students representing different departments of the university. Participants demonstrated excellent enthusiasm, discipline, teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship throughout the various activities, creating an energetic and positive sporting environment on campus.
The National Sports Day celebration also highlighted the importance of sports in maintaining physical and mental well-being. Through active participation, students were encouraged to adopt healthier lifestyles and recognize the role of regular physical activity in developing a disciplined and balanced personality. The event also motivated students to participate in future university, inter-university, and competitive sporting opportunities.
The successful celebration reinforced Quantum University's commitment to holistic student development and a strong sporting culture. The programme commemorated the contribution of legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand and emphasized that sports and physical fitness are essential components of a healthy, disciplined, and successful student life.
