The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Quantum University Roorkee, successfully organized “Kaleidoscope 2026” under the banner of the Quills Literary Society. The event aimed to promote dialogue, creativity, and cultural expression while encouraging students from different departments to celebrate diversity, unity, and artistic talent through various cultural performances and activities.
The program commenced with the welcome of dignitaries and Chief Guest Mr. Sharik Malik, followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting, Saraswati Vandana, and the National Anthem. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of cultural engagement, creativity, and inclusive participation in university life.
Kaleidoscope 2026 featured a wide range of performances celebrating regional languages, ethnic traditions, and Indian cultural heritage. Students participated enthusiastically in storytelling sessions based on regional legends, folk music, solo and group folk dances, poetry recitations, festival presentations, and performances inspired by folk tales and traditions. The event also showcased regional art and cultural displays that highlighted the richness and diversity of Indian traditions.
One of the major highlights of the event was a special presentation by the university fashion club, during which the official name of the fashion society was unveiled. The audience appreciated the creativity, confidence, and talent displayed by the participants throughout the event. The cultural competitions and interactive sessions created an engaging platform for students to express themselves artistically while fostering teamwork, confidence, and mutual respect.
The event concluded with the declaration of results, prize distribution ceremony, Kulgeet of Quantum University, The Kaleidoscope 2026 successfully achieved its objective of promoting cultural pride, social harmony, and meaningful dialogue while strengthening students’ appreciation for diversity, creativity, and coexistence within the university community.
