NAVNITI 2026 Promotes Financial Literacy Through Experiential Learning

15 April 2026

Quantum School of Business successfully organized NAVNITI 2026, a flagship finance competition designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the field of capital markets. Conducted under the guidance of Dr. Vinay Pal Singh and Dr. Varsha Gupta, the event was organized in collaboration with Mind Club Foundation under an existing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), strengthening industry-academia engagement and providing students with valuable exposure to the financial sector.

The event aimed to enhance students’ understanding of mutual funds, portfolio management, investment strategies, and financial decision-making. It encouraged participants to apply financial concepts in real-world scenarios, develop analytical thinking, and strengthen their communication skills through innovative finance-related activities.

NAVNITI 2026 was conducted in two stages, held on 31 March and 15 April 2026. The competition comprised three rounds: the Smart Investor Quiz, which tested participants’ knowledge of mutual funds and capital markets; NAVNiti Time Machine, where students created hypothetical investment portfolios based on 2017 market conditions and analyzed their performance in 2026; and the Mutual Fund AD Challenge, which assessed participants’ creativity in promoting the “Mutual Fund Sahi Hai” campaign through impactful advertisements.

A major highlight of the event was the virtual interaction with Dr. Ankur Bhatnagar, Founder of Mind Club Foundation, who shared valuable insights on the evolving financial landscape. Following a comprehensive evaluation, NAV Ninjas emerged as the winners, while Wolf of Wall Street secured the first runner-up position and Capital Crew the second runner-up position. Thathari Masters were also recognized for their consistent performance. Cash prizes sponsored by Mind Club Foundation were awarded to NAV Ninjas (₹2, 000) and Thathari Masters (₹1, 000).

The valedictory session was conducted by Dr. Varsha Gupta, Dr. Vinay Pal Singh, and Ms. Rupali Khurana, who felicitated the participants and acknowledged their efforts. NAVNITI 2026 successfully fostered experiential learning, strengthened financial awareness, and inspired students to explore careers in finance, investment analysis, and wealth management, reflecting Quantum University’s commitment to industry-oriented education and professional development.
