The School of Agricultural Studies, Quantum University, in collaboration with Uday Bharat e-Magazine and Impact4Dev (Togo), successfully organized a three-day International Workshop on “Agribot Revolution: AI & Robotics for Climate-Smart Farming” from June 6–8, 2026, through an online platform. Conducted under the guidance of Dr. Gaurav Aggarwal, Associate Dean, the workshop brought together academicians, researchers, professionals, and students to explore the transformative role of emerging technologies in modern agriculture.
The workshop aimed to familiarize participants with recent advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics, automation, precision agriculture, and climate-smart farming technologies. The programme served as an international platform for knowledge exchange and discussions on sustainable agricultural practices capable of addressing contemporary challenges faced by the farming sector.
The event commenced with a welcome address highlighting the growing importance of integrating digital technologies into agriculture. Speakers emphasized how AI-driven solutions, robotic systems, and precision farming techniques can help tackle critical issues such as climate change, labour shortages, resource management, and food security while improving productivity and sustainability.
The programme witnessed the presence of distinguished guests including Dr. Suresh Kaushik, Former Chief Technology Officer, ICAR–Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, and Ms. Hadidjatou Yaya, Founder and Director, Impact4Dev, Togo. Their addresses provided valuable insights into the growing role of technology in building resilient and sustainable agricultural systems.
The speakers encouraged participants to embrace innovation and technological advancements as key drivers of future-ready agriculture. The workshop successfully fostered international collaboration, knowledge sharing, and awareness about climate-smart farming solutions, reinforcing Quantum University’s commitment to promoting sustainable agricultural development through education, research, and innovation.
