The Synergy Squad HR Club of Quantum University, Roorkee, hosted an interactive event titled “HR Dramatica – Role Play Activity” on 17 November 2025 at Harmony Hall. The aim was to give students an experiential platform where they could creatively present real HR challenges through short dramatized performances. The activity helped students strengthen communication, teamwork, analytical thinking and their understanding of workplace issues that HR teams handle every day.

Six teams from different departments took part in the competition. Each group performed a role play that explored themes such as performance appraisal meetings, team building and motivation, workplace ethics, employee grievance handling, conflict resolution and workforce diversity. Students were free to perform in English, Hindi or a mix of both, which helped them express their ideas with confidence. All participants received e-certificates as appreciation for their effort.

The performances were evaluated by Dr. Ritu Bharti, Dr. Pallavi Bhardwaj and Dr. Vinay Pal Singh. The judges assessed each team on creativity, clarity of concepts, teamwork, realism, communication skills and overall presentation. They appreciated the enthusiasm shown by the students and noted that the role plays reflected a strong grasp of workplace dynamics and HR problem solving.

Once all teams had performed, the winners were announced. The team of Sargam Bansal, Tanishka Gupta, Pritika Jain and Numan Raza secured the top position. Their act stood out for its clear storyline, creativity and practical relevance. It realistically presented HR challenges and demonstrated thoughtful solutions, earning praise from the judging panel.

The event was conducted smoothly with the guidance of faculty coordinators Dr. Sana Zaidi and Dr. Shalini Verma, along with the support of Department Coordinator Dr. Mousmi Goel. Their planning and encouragement played an important role in the success of the activity. The presence of Dr. Manish Srivastava, Director of the Department, added value to the occasion and motivated the students. Student coordinators Aman Kumar, Yuvani Negi, Sakshi Mahawal and Rohan Kakkar worked diligently to ensure that all arrangements were managed well.

Overall, HR Dramatica turned out to be a meaningful and enriching experience. It offered students a practical space to apply HR concepts through creative expression, improved their interpersonal skills and boosted their confidence. The Synergy Squad HR Club plans to organize more such engaging and skill focused activities in the future.
