Genesis Incubator at Quantum University Introduces School Students to Hands-on Startup Learning

30 September 2026

Genesis Incubator, Quantum University recently hosted around 50 students from Classes 10, 11 and 12 of Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Roorkee, for a hands-on startup learning experience aimed at introducing young students to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and problem-solving.

The session moved beyond conventional classroom learning and encouraged students to work practically on their own ideas. Participants were introduced to important startup concepts including Lean Canvas, Pitch Deck creation, problem statement development and startup team building.

Through the hands-on activities, students had the opportunity to structure their ideas, identify problems and understand how entrepreneurial concepts can be translated into potential solutions. The interactive nature of the session enabled students to explore entrepreneurship through practical engagement and teamwork.

Nearly a dozen teams came forward with problem statements and expressed their intention to continue working on them. The initiative provided students with an opportunity to move from simply identifying ideas to thinking about real-world problems and possible solutions.

Genesis Incubator, Quantum University continues to provide young studentpreneurs with opportunities for mentorship, ecosystem exposure and support, encouraging them to develop their curiosity into meaningful ideas and solutions. The initiative reinforced the importance of introducing entrepreneurial thinking at an early stage and encouraging students to become confident problem-solvers.
