As part of its continued commitment to social responsibility and community welfare, Quantum University, Roorkee, organized a Blood Donation Camp on 19th September 2025 at the Shyamji Auditorium. The event was conducted under initiatives such as “Art of Giving” and the National Service Scheme (NSS), to promote awareness on the importance of voluntary blood donation among students, faculty, and the local community.

Collaboration and Organization
The camp was successfully organized in collaboration with Shri Mehant Indresh Hospital Blood Bank and City Charitable Blood Bank, both of which extended medical support to ensure smooth operations. Before donation, each participant underwent a health checkup to ensure eligibility and safety, thereby creating a secure and professional environment for all.
Participation and Contribution
The response was overwhelming, with around 400 participants coming forward for the noble cause. Through their generous contribution, the camp collected approximately 380 units of blood. Considering that each unit of blood can save up to three lives, this initiative holds the potential to impact over 1,140 lives.

By actively engaging in such humanitarian initiatives, Quantum University reaffirmed its role as an institution that nurtures not only academic excellence but also values of empathy, compassion, and civic duty.
