Dr. Prosenjit Sarkar

Dr. Prosenjit Sarkar holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Gurukula Kangri (Deemed to be University), Haridwar, where his research focused on tin chalcogenide and transition metal dichalcogenide (TMDC) materials for optoelectronic applications. He earned both his M.Sc. and B.Sc. (Hons.) degrees in Electronics from the University of Calcutta, Kolkata, and has also qualified the CSIR-UGC NET for Lectureship. With a strong academic background and research expertise, Dr. Sarkar brings in-depth knowledge of material science, solid-state physics, and nanotechnology.

Research & Patents

Dr. Sarkar has published nine SCI-indexed research articles and one book chapter, reflecting his active engagement in high-impact scientific research. He has also served as a reviewer for several international journals, contributing to the global scientific community. His research interests include nanostructure fabrication, characterization techniques, and the development of advanced materials for energy harvesting and energy storage applications. His work demonstrates a strong commitment to advancing innovation in materials science and sustainable energy technologies.
