Dr. Santosh Kumar Verma

Designation : Professor

Dr. Santosh Kumar Verma earned his Ph.D. in Pharmacology (2013) from Jaipur National University, following an M.Pharm (2005) from VMRS University and a B.Pharm (2003) from Jamia Hamdard University.

His areas of expertise include pharmacology, neurodegenerative disorders, metabolic syndromes, and hepatotoxicity, among others. He has extensive experience in preclinical studies and drug development.

Research & Patents

With over two decades of academic and administrative experience, Dr. Verma has received numerous accolades, including the “Excellence Award in Pharmaceutical Sciences” (2023), “Award of Excellence in Academics & Administration” (2022), and the “Outstanding Principal Award” (2021).

He has made significant contributions to research, with publications in peer-reviewed journals and innovative patents in pharmaceutical sciences. Dr. Verma has also chaired and organized national and international conferences and actively supervises Ph.D. and M.Pharm students.

With over 70 research papers published in national and international journals, Dr. Verma has made significant contributions to the field of pharmaceutical sciences. His scholarly work has received 384 citations, with an h-index of 10 and an i10-index of 10. He has authored and edited multiple books, and his innovative research has resulted in several patents, including advancements in drug delivery systems and medical devices.

Dr. Verma is a life member of professional organizations such as the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), the Indian Pharmacy Graduates’ Association (IPGA), the Indian Pharmacological Society (IPS), and is a Founder Member of Pharma Lok.
