Mr. Vibhanshu Gupta completed his Master’s degree in Optometry with a Gold Medal from Chandigarh University and is an alumnus of King George Medical University, Lucknow. With expertise in visual rehabilitation, low vision care, and binocular vision, he integrates clinical proficiency with a strong commitment to teaching and research. His work focuses on advancing eye care practices through education, innovation, and evidence-based clinical methodologies. Mr. Gupta has also served as an Institution’s Innovation Council Representative and has organized numerous academic and cultural events, demonstrating leadership, organizational skills, and active engagement in student development.

Research & Patents

An active researcher and innovator in optometry, Mr. Gupta has authored and co-authored notable publications, including Managing Myopia Control: A Review of Proven Strategies and Glaucoma Detection in the Age of AI: A Solution for Sustainable Future (CRC Press, 2025). He holds a patent for a “Portable Digital ICU Vital Sign Monitoring and Lifesaving Alert Device with Remote Access Capability” and has presented his work at prestigious national and international conferences such as ADT 2024 and ISCCSC 2024. Recognized for excellence in public speaking and sports at the state level, he is certified by AICTE–MoE’s Innovation Cell (Innovation Ambassador) and Cybersight (Ocular Surgery and Phacoemulsification Training), reflecting his dedication to continuous professional development and interdisciplinary innovation in healthcare.
