Dr. M. Kannan

Designation : Associate Professor

Dr. M. Kannan holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from VMSB-Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun. His research interests include advanced materials, composites, coatings, manufacturing, automation, and optimization techniques.

Experience :

He has over twenty-three years of teaching experience and three years of industrial experience. He holds four granted patents and 11 published patents, has authored 10 textbooks, and has published over 45 research articles.

He is certified by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GoI), as an Innovation Ambassador. He is an active mentor for startup activities at the university and a registered expert evaluator in the School Innovation Council of MoE-AICTE, GoI. He has conducted several entrepreneurship awareness camps under the DST-NIMAT Project of EDII, Gujarat.
