Dr. Rishi Kumar Sharma is an accomplished academic and IT professional with 21+ years of professional experience, including four years of professional experience in the United Kingdom. His diverse professional journey spans higher education, academic administration, teaching, IT, public-sector operations, training and placement, student mentoring, alumni relations, research, and international academic collaborations.

Dr. Sharma has been associated with Quantum University and its earlier academic establishment, Quantum Global Campus, since 2012, contributing extensively to teaching, academic administration, institutional development, student mentoring, training and placement, alumni engagement, and academic coordination. At Quantum University, he has undertaken several key institutional responsibilities, including Head of Alumni Relations and Nodal Officer, International Partnership Office. As Head of Alumni Relations, he has played an important role in strengthening alumni engagement and successfully coordinated the University's Alumni Meets in 2025 and 2026. As Nodal Officer in the International Partnership Office, he has contributed to developing and strengthening international academic collaborations, student exchange initiatives, and broader global engagement.

His international professional experience includes working in the United Kingdom's public-sector environment, including London Borough's like London Borough of Lewisham, where he was involved in finance and administrative operations, working with Oracle and other administrative systems. He also worked with London Borough of Lambeth, contributing to his broader understanding of public-sector administration and professional practices in the UK.

Dr. Sharma also made significant contributions during the UK Census 2011, playing a key role in census-related activities. In addition to his public-sector experience, he served as a Lecturer in the many colleges in the United Kingdom  like The Lord College, London, and St George's College, London. His teaching responsibilities included Computer Networks, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Data Structures, Computer Applications, and postgraduate IT programmes.

His long-standing association with higher education, combined with substantial UK public-sector and academic experience, reflects a strong commitment to academic leadership, institutional development, international engagement, student development, and building meaningful collaborations between educational institutions and global academic partners.
