Ms. Preiti Deol has pursued doctoral research in Food Science, with expertise in Nutrition, Food Microbiology, and Sustainable Food Packaging. Her research at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, focused on the “Optimization, Development, and Characterization of Artemisia vulgaris L. Seed Polysaccharide-Based Edible Film Incorporated with Purple Rice Husk Extract.” Her research interests include edible and biodegradable films, food packaging, food safety, and functional materials for enhancing food quality and shelf life.
