Dr. Poonam Yadav

Designation : Associate Professor

Dr. Poonam Yadav holds a Ph.D. in Food Technology from Banaras Hindu University, with specialization in Food Biotechnology and Food Processing. Her academic and research interests include food biotechnology, food processing, food product development, and innovative approaches to improving food quality and processing efficiency. She was a DST-INSPIRE Fellow during her doctoral studies and serves as a Master Trainer under the PM-FME scheme of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India.

Research & Patents

Dr. Poonam Yadav has contributed to academic research through research and review articles and book chapters published by reputed international publishers, including Springer and Elsevier. She has presented her research at various national and international conferences and has received the Best Oral Presentation Award on two occasions. She has also completed Faculty Development Programmes through NPTEL-AICTE, funded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and through NAHEP at G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. Her academic achievements and research engagement reflect a strong commitment to innovation and advancement in Food Technology, Biotechnology, and Food Processing.
