An initiative to improve road safety and reduce road crash fatalities was launched at Quantum University Roorkee on the 7th of December 2022. The campaign was scheduled by the NSS Unit of the University in association with Dainik Jagaran.
In this campaign, Mr. S.K Sharma, Correspondence, Dainik Jagran, Prof. Manish Sharma, Prof. S. S. Shekhawa, Mr. Ravi Upadhyaya, HOD, Department of Media and Studies, Mr. Pradeep Kumar Verma, NSS Program coordinator, faculty members, staff’s and students participated for the cause. During the presentation, Mr. Lokpal Parmar asked people to commit to six key points regarding Road Safety Rules, including driving safely, encouraging others to drive safely, and driving less or not at all.
