On the occasion of NSS Day, more than 50 NSS volunteers of Quantum University, Roorkee took out an awareness drive on “Plastic Hatao Paryavaran Bachao” and “Save Soil” on the university premises.
The focus of the campaign was to collect plastic waste and sensitize people about the harmful effects of plastic waste pollution. Vice Chancellor Dr. Vivek Kumar, Quantum University said, “It’s a matter of concern for the whole world and there is an alarming need for environmental conversation. We must keep our nature spic and span.”
The students showed great enthusiasm throughout the campaign and pledged to shun plastic and make the environment green and serene.
